Onyema Ajuebor

Dr Onyema Ajuebor joined WHO in 2013 and is currently Technical Officer in the Policy, Norms and Standards team. In this role, he oversees the development of policies, norms and standards for human resources for health (HRH) to support the strengthening of health systems in countries as they rally to achieve universal health coverage and the health-related sustainable development goals.

Onyema Ajuebor earned his master’s degree in international health management, economics and policy from the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy. Previously, Onyema worked mostly in public service as a physician in Nigeria.
