Dr Benedikt Huttner

Dr Benedikt Huttner is the current Lead for the Essentials Medicines List team at WHO headquarters in Geneva and is Secretary of the WHO Expert Committee on the Selection and Use of Essential Medicines. Before joining WHO in 2021 Benedikt, who is originally from Germany, has worked as an infectious diseases physician and academic researcher in Switzerland and the United States. He has a master’s degree in science in Clinical Investigation.
