Daniel Canavese de Oliveira

Daniel Canavese de Oliveira: Professor Daniel Canavese de Oliveira is an associate professor of Public Health at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) affiliate at the Department of Public Health. He is a member of the Brazilian Associate of Public Health (ABRASCO) and part of the group of LGBTI+ Health.  He researches public health and human rights with focus in sexual rights, gender violence and promotion of equity in health involving LGBTI+ population in an intersectional perspective with race/ethnicity and geographic origin in the context of Global South. He works with e-learning and new methodologies (MOOC, podcasts, long distance courses) to deal with the challenges of infodemia. He is based in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
