Danielle Engel

Danielle Engel is a technical expert with over 20 years of experience in adolescent health, public health, and gender equity. With a background in sociology and educational science, she has worked extensively with diverse teams to develop program guidance and provide technical support on adolescent health, youth empowerment, and gender equality. Her work spans West Africa, Latin America, Europe, and South Asia. Formerly the UNFPA Global Team Lead on Adolescent and Youth, Danielle is now a Programme Advisor on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) at UNFPA, where she continues to focus on improving adolescent sexual and reproductive health worldwide.
