Professor David Mabey, Chair STAG-NTD

Professor David Mabey is a physician in infectious and tropical diseases and teaches at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He has done extensive research in the field of trachoma and sexually transmitted infections.

Lately, Professor Mabey focused his work on the development and evaluation of new, point-of-care diagnostics for infectious diseases. Since 2012 , he has researched on yaws in support of the new WHO yaws eradication programme and has served on many advisory committees at WHO.
