Dr Gulnoza Usmanova
Biography
Gulnoza Usmanova (MD, MPH) has more than 15 years of experience in research, measurement, and evaluation of global health programs in LMICs. Gulnoza has led research studies on immunization, tobacco control among youth, cancer, family planning services, health system strengthening, and COVID-19.
She is currently leading research studies focused on the quality of maternity care in the public and private sectors in India, the role of digital technology in improving the quality of intrapartum and postpartum care in India, ensuring continuity of care for high-risk pregnant women, and the implementation and adaptation of the new WHO ANC recommendations (2016) in India.
She serves as a member of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study group and the Covid-19 and Cancer Global Modelling Consortium. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer and editor for several peer-reviewed journals.
