Biography
Dr. Neeraj Dhingra is a senior public health specialist and Former Director, National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, NVBDCP, Ministry of Health, Government of India. He has also worked with high-risk groups for prevention and control of HIV in India as Deputy Director General, National Aids Control Organisation (NACO).
Dr. Dhingra’s skills in Strategic Planning and effective implementation of disease control programme in India like vector borne diseases - malaria, VL, LF, Dengue and Chikungunya and HIV. His contributions include development of surveillance mechanisms for both HIV and vector borne diseases including NTDs like LF and VL.
