Biography

Oscar Daniel Salomón is the Director of the National Institute of Tropical Medicine INMeT-ANLIS-MOH, since its creation in 2011, and Senior Researcher of the National Council of Science, both of Argentina. He received his PhD from the Buenos Aires University, and his MPH from the Yale University. His interests span both vector-borne diseases eco-epidemiology and One Health implementation research, subjects on wich he published more than two hundred articles and chapters. He is advisor for the MOH-Argentina, TAG Entomology in Public Health PAHO-WHO, and STAG on Geographical Yellow Fever Risk Mapping IHR-WHO. INMeT is a Regional Collaborator Center in leishmaniasis of PAHO.
