Larissa Kopp

Biography

Larissa Kopp is the Team Lead of the pharmacovigilance data-management at the pharmacovigilance unit at Paul-Ehrlich-Institut, the national competent authority for Biomedicines and Vaccines in Germany, since 2020. Additionally, she is a senior scientific pharmacovigilance assessor for the assessment of Risk Management Plans, Periodic safety update reports and post-authorization safety studies, including signal detection and evaluation. Since 2023, Larissa Kopp is in charge of implementing pharmacovigilance trainings in an international cooperation with WHO regarding Eastern European and African countries. Prior she worked in the drug development of an Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Product (ATMP) in form of a stem-cell based medicine, as well as in the field of insulin and diabetes research.
At the University in Frankfurt am Main in Germany she received scientific education by obtaining the Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and the Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine with special focus on oncology and immunology, molecular pharmacology, heart and circulation research, bioinformatics and biostatistics.
