Biography
Dr Miguel Angel Luque-Fernandez is an honorary professor in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Luque specialized in HIV and infectious diseases epidemiology at the University of Cape Town and in epidemiological methods, causal inference, and maternal and perinatal epidemiology at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. He has also been trained as an Epidemic Intelligence Officer working as a field epidemiologist for several years in different sub-Saharan African countries with Médecins Sans Frontières and with during the cholera epidemic in Haiti, 2010.
