Biography

Dr. Natacha Stevanovic-Fenn is a Senior Scholar at the Center for Child and Human Development, Georgetown University and a Senior Social Scientist focusing on gender, social inclusion and global health. Natacha has over a decade of experience working in gender and international development, providing technical leadership and oversight on the conceptualization and operationalization of research projects and evaluations in the context of social and behavior change programs.

She has regional expertise in the Balkans, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South Asia, and sub Saharan Africa, specifically in francophone Africa. Her areas of technical expertise include: sexual and reproductive health (SRH), including adolescent SRH; child marriage; gender-based violence; male engagement and masculinities; social norms; migration-development nexus; and gender analysis.

Natacha received her PhD in Sociology from Columbia University and BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a French native and is fluent in English, Spanish and Serbian.
