Biography

Dr Pascal Zurn is Head of the Health Labour Market and Partnerships Unit. He is specialized in health labour market analyses and economic evaluations related to the health workforce.

Pascal joined the World Health Organization in 2001. From 2005 to 2007 he was on a secondment to the OECD with the Health Division and worked on health systems analyses. From 2014 to 2016, Pascal was Health System Team Leader in the WHO Country Office in India.

Pascal Zurn is an economist by training with a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Master's of Science in Health Economics from York University, United Kingdom.

Prior to joining WHO, Pascal worked in the Private Banking sector in Switzerland.
