Biography

Pete Azzopardi FRACP MEpi PhD leads an International program of research focusing on adolescent health and well-being. Pete’s work is approached in partnership with adolescents. He has expertise in using data to describe adolescent health needs - a foundation to effective action - and in implementation science to inform how actions can be taken to scale. He is a member of the adolescent well-being Expert Consultative Group at WHO and a co-chair of the adolescent wellbeing work stream at PMNCH, and is a member of the steering group for the current Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and wellbeing.
