Professor Apichard Sukonthasarn

Cardiac specialist and head of Medicine Department, Bangkok Hospital Chiang Ma, Thailand

Professor Apichard Sukonthasarn is currently a cardiac specialist and head of Medicine Department at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai. He graduated from Chiang Mai University and became Professor of Medicine in Cardiovascular Division, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University in the year 2002. He was the editorial board for Chiang Mai Medical Bulletin and Journal of Medical Association of Thailand. He is now the editorial board member for the Journal Clinical Hypertension and is the president of Thai Hypertension Society.

Professor Sukonthasam has published more than 90 articles in local and international medical journal and has published 37 textbooks. He is currently the principle investigator for "BDMS Heart Study", the research program focusing on the health status of employees in the BDMS Hospital chains.
