Biography

Sophie Marie Kostelecky, raised in Austria, Slovenia and in the United States, holds a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from University College London, and an MSc in Global Health: Conflict and Security from King’s College London. She has previously interned at UK charity and NGO based organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Society, Farm Africa, Body & Soul and the Klosters Forum.

After completing her MSc, she moved to Geneva to intern at the International AIDS Society. Currently based in Barcelona, Sophie began working as an independent consultant on adolescent well-being and partner engagement at the PMNCH hosted by the WHO in August 2020. In her current role, as a WCAH Consultant, Sophie leads on the development and collation of key knowledge products to be launched at the Global Forum for Adolescents, which is taking place in October 2023. She is also supporting the development of the programme for the Global Forum for Adolescents.
