Biography

Dr Anie is a chartered scientist and public health expert focusing on areas such as HIV, SRHR and NCDs, Gender Equality, Education and Governance. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and of Chemistry, UK. She was honored as an African Science Hero because of her contributions to science and had the opportunity of addressing the UN General Assembly, New York in 2011 on HIV and Health.

Dr Anie has worked in sustainable human development for several years on both international and national levels paying particular attention to monitoring, evaluating and learning and to marginalized groups.

Through her work in health she has facilitated and driven reforms to empower the vulnerable to demand their health rights and to sharpen access to treatment, care and support
