Zahid Memon
Biography
Zahid Memon is the Director of Projects and Faculty at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, where he leads research initiatives and provides strategic oversight for implementation research in health systems and community engagement.
His current role involves supervising projects related to maternal, child, and adolescent sexual reproductive health, focusing on underserved communities. As the principal investigator for the Exemplars in Family Planning project, Zahid is leading a global research effort to explore factors influencing the use of modern contraceptives in countries with positive trends.
The project aims to identify effective strategies and drivers for contraceptive utilization. In addition to his research responsibilities, Zahid’s interest includes evidence-based support for policy development at national and international levels, focusing on reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health.
