World Hand Hygiene Day is celebrated annually on 5 May and the 2021 campaign slogan is “Seconds save lives – clean your hands”. This video message by the WHO Deputy Director General (Dr Zsuzsanna Jakab) and global hand hygiene expert Prof Didier Pittet (University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland) shares the messaging and key elements of the campaign and how you can get involved.
