If you want to do more in support of universal health coverage, you could start by talking to your local health workers. Health workers can help you to understand the issues in your local context. Then get involved and become an advocate for strong primary health care and universal health coverage. Join or lead a campaign, demand action from your leaders by writing letters, organizing community meetings or raising your voice in the media and on social media. If you live in an area that has universal health coverage, you can still be an advocate for those who do not – and a champion for the advantages it offers.
