The members of the NCD Advisory Council are referred to as councillors. These are experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds, including high-level health policy-makers and leaders, renowned academic and clinical experts on NCDs, and representatives of special interest groups, such as patient, professional or health services provider organizations and health or public interest nongovernmental organizations.
