The 37th meeting of the European RCC for Poliomyelitis Eradication will review annual updates submitted by WHO European Region Member States on the status of national polio eradication programmes in 2022. The RCC will assess, based on available evidence, whether there was wild or circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus transmission in the WHO European Region in 2022 and thereby conclude whether the Region sustained its polio-free status.
