Overview
This publication describes the methodological approach to the development of the screening tool for assessment of health risks from combined exposure to multiple chemicals in indoor air in public settings for children. The approach is based on the WHO International Programme on Chemical Safety framework for risk assessment of combined exposure to multiple chemicals. This publication includes a description of the methodology as well as assumptions and limitations/uncertainties. Its content draws in part on a series of background papers and expert consultations and meetings convened to assist and advise WHO in the development of the methodological approach.
