Overview

This fact sheet series documents the magnitude of environmental health inequalities within countries in the WHO European Region. Environmental health inequalities relate to socioeconomic, sociodemographic or spatial differences in exposure to environmental health risk factors and to differences in health status caused by environmental conditions. The access to at least basic drinking-water services fact sheet provides available data on the unequal distribution of access to safe and clean drinking-water within countries in the Region, updating earlier assessments.
