Nineteenth annual meeting of HEPA Europe and Fourteenth conference of HEPA Europe: Leuven, Belgium, 11–13 September 2023

The 19th annual meeting of HEPA Europe, the European Network for the Promotion of Health-Enhancing Physical Activity (‎HEPA Europe)‎ took place within the framework of the 14th Conference of HEPA Europe in Leuven, Belgium. The annual meeting and the conference were kindly hosted by KU Leuven, and parallel sessions of HEPA Europe working groups were held on 11 and 12 September 2023. About 60 participants took part in the annual meeting on 12 September. Fifteen new membership applications were confirmed, and four new Steering Committee members were elected. Progress made by HEPA Europe working groups was presented, with achievements by the Early Career section. The aim of the Conference was to engage and connect scientists, policy-makers, professionals and other stakeholders to enhance and facilitate use of knowledge in the field of HEPA. A total of 419 participants were registered.
