Impact training for Big Data in health care
WHO/Europe has established a regular training course to improve country capacities around the use of Big Data in health care. “Impact Training for Big Data in Health Care” aims to empower participants from a technological perspective, focusing on implementing and maintaining a health Big Data infrastructure and related tools in health-care organizations.
Big Data refers to the vast amounts of data generated daily in today’s digital society. In the WHO European Region, the ability to effectively utilize Big Data is essential not just for personalized health care, but also to support policy- and decision-making.
The multi-day course has been developed to holistically address Big Data, from organizational needs to infrastructure maintenance. It is aimed at professionals working in health Big Data, research and policy-making. The learning methods include a mix of lectures, exercises, visits and group work.
