GAP-f is coordinated by a Secretariat that liaises with all relevant focal points in various WHO departments to promote a concerted effort for all WHO work related to paediatric drug prioritization, research, development, and introduction. The GAP-f steering committee is the highest decision-making body of the network. It is comprised of WHO leadership from relevant divisions involved.

To achieve its goals, membership of GAP-f draws from organizations well-entrenched in the field of paediatric medicines. A subset of GAP-f members are part of a Strategy Group, which is responsible for supporting the growth and evolution of the network, leading on the implementation of GAP-f’s strategy.
