HEPA is multi-stakeholder partnership made up of members states, intergovernmental organizations, nongovernment organizations, private sector entities, philanthropic foundations and academic institutions. The Platform currently consists of 23 organizations convened by WHO, UN DESA, UNDP and the World Bank, in cooperation with IRENA.

This page aims to facilitate knowledge sharing about challenges and solutions to accelerate clean cooking and electrification of health-care facilities. 

You may also refer to the HEPA Workplan which outlines HEPA objectives, activities, timeframe, indicators/expected outputs, and aims to facilitate collaboration and identify synergies from organizations within HEPA who plan to support specific outputs.

WHO in collaboration with World Bank, IRENA and SEforALL has produced a global assessment report on the status of electricity access of health-care facilities. The publication provides a comprehensive update on the status and key actions needed for providing reliable, modern energy to health-care facilities in low- and middle-income countries.
