GRAND PRIX for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) category:

"Pre-eclampsia: Predict Earlier, Prevent Earlier" directed by the Indonesian Prenatal Institute, an emotional journey of a mother losing her first child due to pre-eclampsia and the hope behind a second pregnancy and proper care.

 

 

GRAND PRIX for Health Emergencies category: 

" Intensive " directed by Oliver John Pratt and Living Words, a film that details his near-fatal account of being hospitalized and made comatose after contracting Covid-19, despite being an otherwise fit and healthy twenty-year-old.

 

GRAND PRIX for Better Health and Well-being category:

"Euphoric" directed by Nirmala Choudhary and Roopali Ramesh Kumar, a film describing the horrors and life-long impacts that Female Genital Mutilation can have on women. 

 

 

STUDENT PRIZE:

"Improving Lives in Three Dimensions: 3D-Printed Prostheses" directed by Merel van der Stelt, a film that portrays the benefits of access to 3D printing in fragile contexts, providing a useful and essential tool for manufacturing locally relevant medical aids, such as braces, splints, and prostheses.

 

 

HEALTH INNOVATION Special Prize:

"For Every Girl, a Forest" directed by Nacho Corbella, a film happening in Piplantri town in India, where trees are planted every time a girl is born, promising education security in a region where historical prejudice against infant girls too often led to infanticide.

 

 

REHABILITATION Special Prize:

 "Sim-Patia" directed by Carlos Gómez-Mira Sagrado and Rossana Giacomelli, a film highlighting the aftermath of a head injury and how is lived by those affected, a story of hope and resilience.

 


VERY SHORT FILM Special Prize:

"Glamming my wounds" directed by Terry Ombaka, a film highlighting the disastrous impact of the Covid-19 crisis on Gender-based violence.
