Leveraging country experiences and lessons learned from previous health emergencies, global health experts put forth a call to action for PHSM during the WHO meeting, Building coalitions for strengthening public health and social measures during health emergencies, during 14 - 15 June 2023.

The Secretariat of the PHSM initiative is located in the WHO’s Health Emergencies Programme. It is steered by the internal Steering Group on PHSM representing six WHO regional offices and a wide range of technical teams in the headquarters.
