Interactives Training Programme on Pathology Launched

A whole set of interactive materials for pathologists prepared by doctors and health care professionals of the National Pathology Centre (NPC) and supported by WHO was launched on 3 March in the NCP. "There are only about 100 pathologists in the entire country," says G.Uyanga, the NCP Director. "And as they are located not only in the capital city but in the countryside production of this interactive materials is a very important investment for Mongolia’s pathologists and for our Centre".

The WHO Representative, Dr Soe Nyunt-U underlined that such audio-visual interactive materials have a great future being used for continuous medical education of health care professionals for improving the quality of health services. The newly launched interactive consists of 4 modules on pathology of the most commonly spread 33 diseases and one module explaining what pathology is, directed at the general public.
