Content

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out the following work:

  1. Mapping and analysis of existing community health worker competency-based curricula, standards and role responsibilities across different contexts, including through stakeholder interviews, literature searches, evidence review and targeted searches and produce a synthesis of the relevant evidence on competency-based education of CHWs.
  2. .Use the evidence review to develop a modular CHW prototype curriculum that addresses core and task-specific competencies, CHW guideline and Global Competency Framework recommendations, approaches to curriculum design, delivery and assessment and evidence-informed policy directions for effectively integrating competency-based education for CHWs in a variety of country contexts.

WHO is an Organization that is dependent on the budgetary and extra-budgetary contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are, therefore, requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet WHO requirements, while ensuring a high level of service.
