The World Health Organization Health (WHO), acting through its Emergencies Programme within its Department of Epidemic and Pandemic Threat Management is pleased to announce a second expression of interest (hereinafter, this “EOI”) for laboratories to become reference laboratories within the WHO Coronavirus Network (CoViNet), whose Terms of Reference are set forth in Annex 1 to this EOI. This follows a first open call that was published on 28 August 2023.
Laboratories who are interested in becoming reference laboratories of the CoViNet must complete and submit an online application form, available at: CoViNet Reference Laboratories: Application Form
The application form must be received by WHO no later than 11 July 2025 23:00 CEST.
A laboratory’s submission of an application form by the deadline stated above does not automatically mean that such laboratory will be selected for participation in, or will participate as a reference laboratory, in the WHO Coronavirus Network.
