We are happy to announce the launch of the Open Call: Global Goods Integrating Climate Services for Health. This joint initiative between Digital Square at PATH, The Rockefeller Foundation, Wellcome, and the World Health Organization (WHO)-World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Joint Programme for Climate and Health, marks a pivotal step in advancing our efforts to build climate- and health-informed data and information systems to better address the growing challenges climate change poses to public health worldwide.
This open call aims to identify and promote global goods that integrate climate data with health information, enhancing our ability to predict and respond to climate-related health risks. By leveraging global knowledge and expertise, we aim to develop more robust systems that support health resilience in the face of a changing climate. Selected solutions will be included in the Global Goods Guidebook for Climate Health, an extension of the existing Global Goods Guidebook —a curated resource for implementers, funders, and governments.
