WHO launches nine patient safety solutions

In developed countries as many as one in 10 patients is harmed while receiving hospital care and in the developing world the figure may be much higher. The World Health Organization, together with The Joint Commission and Joint Commission International, have developed 9 Patient Safety Solutions that have proved useful in reducing health care risks to patients.
