This meeting gathers experts and country implementers to review and recommend hypertension indicators based on relevance, comprehensiveness, accuracy, reliability and feasibility with consideration of existing patient and programme monitoring systems in countries.
The objectives of the meeting are:
· To review and recommend hypertension indicators based on relevance, comprehensiveness, accuracy, reliability and feasibility with consideration of existing patient and programme monitoring systems in countries;
· To update on implementation of experience in countries on reporting of hypertension indicators from patient and programme monitoring systems;
· To review existing hypertension indicators, including those in HEARTS-S, and identify additional indicators for improving quality and coverage of services.
