For the first time, advocates in Democratic Republic of the Congo are joining the world in taking action for cervical cancer elimination on 17 November.
The Ministry of Health is collaborating with women associations by organizing a walk together into the city of Kinshasa to raise the awareness about cervical cancer vaccination and screening. They'll be joined by the Honorable Minister of Health, Dr Roger Kamba. Leaders and advocates are planning additional advocacy events, including educational sessions in schools to advocate about the vaccination against HPV.
