Faculty and students at Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute are advocating for cervical cancer awareness in the temple town of Kanchipuram. With support from the Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), doctors and medical students will match their advocacy with action by conducting free screening camps for early detection and follow-up treatment.
Launching in honour of the Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action, the screening programme – entitled Teal Real Implementation – Universal Medicos Pledge (TRIUMP) – will continue through 17 November 2024.
