The Global Initiative on Digital Health (GIDH) is pleased to support the
side event "Multistakeholder
Dialogue on Investing in Digital Public Infrastructure for Equitable Future
Health Systems, with Assistive Technology as a Use Case."
Hosted by the World Health Organization, the Government of Estonia, the Government of Ireland, the
International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Global Initiative on Digital
Health, the Global Disability Innovation Hub and Transform Health, this event
will address key challenges with moving from fragmented digital transformation
to country led and inclusive digital transformation of health systems.

The session will discuss challenges with financing, governance and
architecture to ensure digital health transformation is accessible to all,
featuring a use case on improving access to assistive technology for 2.5
billion people in need globally. Speakers will include Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Estonia, Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations, National Health Authority India, Ministry of Health Brazil,
Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT of the United States, WHO,
ITU, UNICEF, Transform Health and Digital Square at PATH.
