Overview
Testing is an essential entry point in accessing hepatitis B and C prevention, care and treatment services, making it a critical component of national responses.
Join us for a webinar to launch WHO’s new Operational guide on priorities in planning person-centred hepatitis B and C testing services.
The event will provide a briefing on the key highlights of the operational guide, including:
- a framework in planning hepatitis B and C testing services;
- developing a strategic mix of testing approaches based on country’s priorities and unique epidemiological situation;
- opportunities for integrating testing services, demand creation and linkage to care; and
- consolidation of WHO testing guidelines on hepatitis C and B and D to improve accessibility for end-users.
The event will also provide a forum to discuss compelling examples in how hepatitis B and C testing approaches and strategies were developed in different countries, emphasising phased approaches, integration and simplified testing strategies.
The webinar will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation in French.
