Join WHO for a webinar focused on the 2024 policy brief Supporting re-engagement in HIV treatment services. This session will present an overview of WHO's policy brief key messages and share insights from Zambia and civil society. The discussion will explore strategies to overcome barriers and implement effective re-engagement approaches to achieve the global targets by 2030.
As countries strive towards the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets, it's imperative to support re-engagement in HIV treatment services, as disengagement from treatment and care can result in advanced HIV disease along with opportunistic infections, increased risk of mortality, higher rates of viral non-suppression and can drive development of drug resistance.
Interpretation in French, Spanish, and Portuguese will be provided.
