Seventy-eighth World Health Assembly Ministerial Roundtable
This dialogue will convene ministers of health and finance, senior policy-makers, and development partners to explore actionable, country-led strategies that strengthen health information systems and secure sustainable financing for health.
Health data and sustainable financing form the twin foundations of strong health systems. They are central to achieving universal health coverage and meeting the needs of women and girls. Countries need reliable data to set priorities or track results. They need adequate financing to implement strategies and deliver outcomes.
As countries face rising demands and constrained fiscal space, there is a unique opportunity to scale what works, forge a more progressive pathway, and advance a future that is regenerative, inclusive, and rooted in equity. This roundtable focuses on concrete, scalable solutions.
The session takes place at the UN Palais des Nations, Room XVIII on Wednesday 21 May 2025 between 13:00–14:20 CEST.
