WHO Civil Society Task Force on TB: Townhall for civil society and affected communities on ending TB

When: 05 June 2025, 13:00H – 14:00H CEST

The World Health Organization (WHO) in close collaboration with the WHO Civil Society Task Force on Tuberculosis (CSTF-TB), is convening a civil society Townhall on ending TB with a spotlight on the current challenging landscape titled: 'Sustaining the momentum towards ending TB: safeguarding the TB response.’

Worldwide disruptions in TB services due to an abrupt pause or reduction of developmental assistance has put millions of lives at risk. The Townhall provides a platform for exchanging views with communities and civil society for sustaining the momentum towards ending TB, and safeguarding the TB response.

The highly interactive event, with live discussions will be opened by WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and facilitated by members of the CSTF-TB.

The event will be held on Thursday 5 June from 13h00 to 14h00 CEST. It will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation to French, Spanish and Russian.

The Townhall is open to all stakeholders in the fight to end TB, and we especially invite all civil society and affected communities to participate in the discussions.
