Imperial College London study trip to the WHO Academy

11 – 13 June 2025
In-person (Invite only), WHO Academy, Lyon, France

Language: English

Imperial College London is a leading institution in public health education, research, and leadership. Since 2008, its WHO Collaborating Centre has offered Master of Public Health students a unique opportunity to visit WHO Headquarters. This initiative helps bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world global health practice.

In 2025, this initiative expands to include a visit to the WHO Academy in Lyon. The visit underscores the essential role of WHO Collaborating Centres in advancing the Organization’s mission and gives future public health leaders hands-on exposure to WHO’s innovative training environment.

Highlights

  • Bridge academic learning with practical experience through direct engagement with WHO’s global health work.
  • Motivate students to pursue careers in global health and contribute to Universal Health Coverage and Sustainable Development Goal 3.
  • Strengthen capacity-building and foster connections with the next generation of health leaders.
