This week the International Traditional Medicine Clinical Trial Registry (ITMCTR) became a member of the Primary Registry Network of ICTRP. ITMCTR is also becoming a data provider and the trials registered with ITMCTR have been added to the ICTRP database. ITMCTR was established by the Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences with the support of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This new regional registry will contribute to research transparency in the region and will ensure the registration of all clinical trials related to Traditional Medicine.
