A WHO meeting on the regional response to the invasion of Anopheles stephensi in Africa was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 8–10 March 2023. This report summarizes the key presentations that were made by funders, researchers, national malaria control programmes, WHO representatives and others. The purpose of the convening was to provide a forum for the exchange of information and for the prioritization and coordination of An. stephensi surveillance and control activities.
