Caring for women subjected to violence: online facilitated training for health workers

Overview
This online facilitated training curriculum for health workers to respond to intimate partner violence and sexual violence is for settings where in-person trainings are not feasible because of resources or mobility restrictions, including times or settings where it may not be possible to bring people in the same room due to outbreaks. It was developed during the COVID-19 when reports of violence against women sky rocketed, women were unable to access services, and health workers could not be trained through in-person methods. The value of having online facilitated trainings remains as health workers are stretched, resources for training are decreasing, and connectivity for online approaches is providing more cost-efficient ways to strengthen health workforce capacities.
