Overview
An informal consultation was held at WHO’s headquarters office in Lyon, France, at the end of November 2023. Over 30 participants from over 14 countries from all six WHO regions took part in the workshop, both in person and online, with most participants delivering presentations and engaging in group discussions, which focused on the main theme of identifying key areas for standardizing the medical planning of mass gatherings, with the EMT methodology providing the benchmark for the work.
The following report is a summary of the output of this two-day workshop.
