The Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) on immunization advises the Director-General of WHO on the full range of immunization issues. Its remit extends beyond childhood immunization to all vaccine-preventable diseases. SAGE met during 6–8 April 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland.
