Overview
Improve awareness, and understanding of antimicrobial resistance through effective communication, education and training is part of the strategic objectives of the WHO Global action plan on Antimicrobial Resistance. This brochure was developed to promote understanding of antimicrobial resistance from the food chain and provide recommendations to consumers to stop the spread of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, protect their health and ask for a safer food supply. The brochure supports the One Health approach explaining the links between the health of humans, animals and the environment.
