Overview
The Ad hoc FAO/WHO Expert Meeting on water quality in agrifood systems and food safety implications – focus on chemical contaminants was organized jointly by the Agrifood Systems and Food Safety Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Department of Nutrition and Food Safety and Department of Environment, Climate Change and Health of the World Health Organization (WHO). The main objective of the meeting was to facilitate the finalization of the document Prioritizing food safety issues related to chemical water quality in agrifood systems.
